The Seven Hobbits of Highly Effective People: How to reach audacious goals with kindness and an open mind.

Let the wisdom of the Hobbit guide you in your quest for meaningful results in your work and your life.

My research is based upon two sources.
  1. the stories of Bilbo, Frodo and his friends as told in Tolkiens books ‘The Lord of the Rings’ and ‘The Hobbit: an Unexpected Journey’ .
  2. the experiences, lessons and results of people who created extraordinary results in leadership, business, sports, arts and culture.

In this short temporary microblog I will discuss every week one of the principles where the ‘Hobbit Mind’ reflects in everyday life.

It is a playful tribute to the work of J.R.R. Tolkien and Stephen Covey who both inspired millions of people to unleash their greatness. I assume you are familiair with their work.

Join me and share your thoughts.

  1. Always be ready for an adventure
  2. Know when to make yourself invisible
  3. Trust the fellowship
  4. Small acts of kindness and love will hold evil back, instead of great power
  5. Take time to laugh and play
  6. It’s only a good morning if you want it to
  7. The Shire is in your heart
